  • 2012-11-vanc-08 In VIctoria, on the breakwater at sunset, watching the wildlife play
  • 2012-11-vanc-09 Off to Goldstream Park to see the Salmon run, near the end of the run, the salmon are dying off and supplying food for the other river critters

  • 2012-11-vanc-11 A Bald Eagle swoops in to feed - lots of them around that day
  • 2012-11-vanc-12 Up Island towards Cowichan stop to look up Finlayson Arm
  • 2012-11-vanc-13 Cowichan Harbour we happened across the yearly Sea Lions that come to hang out for two months of the year- this was the harbour

  • 2012-11-vanc-21 Continuing on we happen across this place which has been an aboiriginal school, an orgphange and is frankly a little uhm creepy
  • 2012-11-vanc-22 We ran out of road in Genoa Bay, a beautiful wild quiet little peice of Vancovuer Island...with a great restaurant
  • 2012-11-vanc-23 Back on the road we came across a ski fence, about 100 - 150- metres long think I will plan one with my neighbour

  • 2012-11-vanc-25 Back in Vancovuer, on the north shore, we headup to Cypress to see the ski hills
  • 2012-11-vanc-26 Looking back into the inner harbour covered in low clouds we continue our trip up
  • 2012-11-vanc-27 And found not just a ski hill but almost 15 cm of fresh snow
  • 2012-11-vanc-28 Back donw the hill 15 minutes later we check out some tide pools
